The measure will come into force as of midnight on July 1, 2022. It covers purchases made in pharmacies, nearby stores, mini, super and hypermarkets, kiosks and stores.
The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) increased the reimbursement for consumption made with a debit card by 69%. Likewise, it established the new amount at $2,028 per month with a maximum value of $4,057 for AUH holders with two or more children. . The measure was announced through general resolution 5221/2022 and published in the Official Gazette.
It is important to highlight that since it is a system financed with a budget allocated for such purposes by the Ministry of Economy, it does not affect the federal co-participation.
From the agency they reported that the provisions of this general resolution will come into force from July 1, 2022, inclusive.
Likewise, they clarified that the amount corresponding to the reimbursement of the purchase operations carried out from 00:00 on July 1, 2022 until 5:00 p.m. on July 6, 2022, will be credited on July 7, 2022 in the bank account in which the benefit of retirement, pension and/or allowance is received.
Who can receive the refund for their purchases with debit cards
The benefit reaches people whose only income is a retirement or pension having a minimum and
1.Holders of Universal Child Allowances (AUH)
2.Pregnancy allowance holders (AUE).
3.The measure will be in force until December 31, as officially reported.
The extension of the benefit also offers an additional boost to the consumption that more than two million people make every month.

“The refund is credited automatically when the beneficiaries make their purchases with a debit card, while the operations paid with these cards under the Immediate Electronic Payment (PEI) or quick response (QR) codes are also reached”, reported the body.
